Applied Nutrition L-Glutamine Powder next to a checklist showing glutamine has thin evidence for muscle in healthy trainees but stronger evidence in clinical settings

الجلوتامين: الدليل العلمي بدون مبالغة — الإمارات 2026

الإجابة باختصار

L-glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid your body already makes in large amounts. In healthy people who train regularly, the evidence for extra muscle growth, strength, or recovery is thin -- most controlled trials find no measurable benefit. The stronger evidence sits in gut and immune support, mostly in clinical populations, not gym-goers.

أسئلة شائعة

Does glutamine build muscle?
Not on its own. When protein intake is already adequate, controlled trials in healthy trainees show no extra strength or muscle gain from adding glutamine.
Is glutamine safe to take every day?
At typical oral doses (around 5g), yes for most healthy adults. The safety questions around glutamine come from very high clinical doses in critically ill patients, not a daily scoop.
When should I take glutamine?
Timing doesn't matter much. Studies use 5g once or twice a day mixed in water, with or without training.
Does glutamine help with gut health?
The evidence for that is strongest in clinical settings -- burns, surgery, critical illness -- under medical supervision, not for a healthy gut with no diagnosed issue.
Do I need glutamine if I already take EAAs and enough protein?
Unlikely. If your total protein intake is on target, glutamine is a low-priority extra, not a gap you need to fill.
Is Applied Nutrition's L-Glutamine Halal and Informed Sport certified?
Yes -- it carries both certifications, which matter for manufacturing purity and drug-tested athletes, not for extra muscle-building effect.
