Applied Nutrition Critical Oats Protein Porridge tub beside the points that oats plus whey come in one scoop and protein per serving is the number to check

شوفان البروتين: فطار حقيقي ولا فكرة تسويقية؟ — الإمارات 2026

الإجابة باختصار

Protein porridge is oats blended with whey. Applied Nutrition's Critical Oats carries 23 grams of protein per 60 gram scoop, against roughly 8 grams from plain oats. Mixing your own oats and protein is almost always cheaper per gram; the tub buys you a one-scoop breakfast that takes two minutes.

أسئلة شائعة

Is protein porridge better than oats and whey mixed yourself?
Not nutritionally. Mixing 60 grams of oats with a 30 gram scoop of whey gives you more protein than a 60 gram scoop of pre-mixed porridge, and almost always costs less per gram. What the tub buys is one scoop, one pot and two minutes. If the honest alternative is skipping breakfast, that is worth paying for.
How much protein is in a serving of protein porridge?
Applied Nutrition Critical Oats delivers 23 grams per 60 gram scoop. That is the number to check on any brand you buy, because a tub that is mostly oats can land closer to 10 grams and still be sold as protein porridge.
Can I eat protein porridge before training?
You can, but it is not the best choice close to a session. Oat fibre and the MCT fat in it slow gastric emptying, so it sits heavier than a low-fibre carbohydrate. Eat it two or more hours out, or use cream of rice in the hour before you train.
Does protein porridge help during a cutting phase?
Only through the same mechanism as any high-protein meal: protein is filling and it protects muscle in a calorie deficit. It is a breakfast with no special effect of its own. Weigh the scoop, because it is easy to over-pour a light flaked powder.
Is protein porridge halal?
The Applied Nutrition version we stock is halal certified and batch-tested for banned substances. Certification is per product, not per brand, so check the pack on anything else you buy.
Should I make it with water or milk?
Milk if you are chasing a protein target — 250ml adds roughly 8 grams of protein and pushes a 23 gram serving past 30. Water if you are watching calories or want it ready in two minutes with a kettle and nothing else.
